A Home in Need of an Update

We recently had the pleasure of helping a local family to upgrade their home in Upminster. They had old white timber windows and a timber glazed door that were both starting to let them down through cold draughts and poor energy efficiency – not ideal for modern living.

Timberlook Flush Sash Windows Endurance Composite Door

The Solution – Timberlook Flush Sash Windows

To give their home a much-needed update without losing its traditional charm, we installed white Timberlook flush casement windows. These look just like classic timber but are actually low-maintenance uPVC with clever Timberweld joints that make them fully sealed and weatherproof. They look great and keep the warmth in, too.

A Fresh Endurance Composite Front Door in Sage

We also replaced the old door with an Endurance composite door, chosen in the popular Etna style. The Etna style is recognisable for the two expansive glass panes, excellent for natural light intake. The homeowner opted for their new entrance door to be finished in sage green externally with white on the inside — a lovely contrast made possible by our dual-colour offerings. We added polished chrome hardware, including a traditional knocker, pull knob, and satin number etched into the toplight glass for a timeless look that still feels fresh.

Blending Style with Modern Performance

This project was all about combining heritage style with modern performance, and we’re really proud of how it turned out. Thanks again to the family for being so accommodating of our team.

From the start Tyler was very professional and helpful on the phone, he sent me pictures by email of doors in the colours I was thinking about and also pictures of the fixtures and fittings so I could compare colours.
Tyler was very communicative throughout the whole process. On the day of installation the fitter was punctual and polite and clearly knew his stuff, door is working a dream. Especially happy with the making good and how he installed the trim, such a clean and tidy finish.
